hash brown bake twist

Take a bag of frozen hash browns, a 9x13 baking dish, spray with pam. put half of the bag of hash browns in the baking dish. In a sauce pan, 2Tbs butter, chooped onion, saute till a little brown, add sour cream 1/2 cup or to taste, add 1 can of cream mushroom soup, salt and pepper to taste. mix together. take half the mixture pour on top of the potatoes, sprinkle with pepper jack cheese, cheddar, or your favorite kind. repeat the layers. bake 425 degrees for about 40 mins, or till golden brown. Sure to be a family pleaser, great for pot lucks.  Enjoy
